Here in Southern California there are these beautiful Jacaranda trees which carry magnificent lavender blooms. Jacaranda trees bloom twice a year, once in Spring and then in Fall. The Spring bloom, as most things during that time, is a full blown-out explosion of purple color top to bottom (literally because the blooms fall to the ground as fast as they open up), creating a glorious purple tunnel effect when looking down a street of Jacaranda trees. Curiously, in the Fall the blooms are just a smidgen of what they can be....almost like a teaser of what is to come. I like that, a teaser of what lies ahead....now if only God would do that a bit more in my life.
