"Mountain Reflections" watercolor (4" x 9 1/2")
This was a quick little painting I did. Sometimes I just start with a brush of color on the paper and see what I see. This one instantly took form from the brushstrokes of rose violet (sky) and quinacridone gold (mountains)....then I filled in the "blanks". When a painting is close to being done, I start thinking of a title....sometimes a clever one, sometimes a literal one, and sometimes I defer to a family member. Today's piece was titled by our 8 yr old daughter.
